Welcome to I AM NOT SOUTH ASIAN, a proud initiative by Wanjara Nomad Collections, embodying the resilience and fortitude of Sikh Canadians. Our mission is to reclaim our identity, challenging unjust linguistic labels that misidentify our Sikh children as "South Asian" rather than Sikh Canadians. We assert our language, heritage, and unique cultural identity with unwavering determination. Wanjara Nomad Collections illuminates Sikh Canadian history, fostering appreciation and inspiring an enlightened, inclusive society that celebrates the diversity of all Canadians. Ethnically diverse narratives help preserve memories, traditions, and experiences that might otherwise be overlooked. These cultural narratives provide opportunities for people to learn from one another and appreciate the richness of different backgrounds.
